Tablet market has now been getting a lot of devices with wide range of pricing to varied functionality. Within couple of years, we have seen a number of tablets joining the cut throat competition.

There is iPad which stands tall in its own way with a classy look and a high end pricing, while Samsung has a relatively lower priced tablets with better features and runs on Android. Recently Sony tablet has come up Xperia Tablet Z with odd USP feature that makes it water and dust resistant device.

But all these have a quite high price tag. However, now with the advent of various other brands with low priced tablets, the tablet market has been shaken at least to some extent. Now the consumers have access to low priced tablets like Karbonn A34 Tab, Videocon VT75C Tab, Spice Stellar Slatepad Mi-725 and more.

Adding one more competitor in the budget tablet race, Lava has recently launched the Xtron Plus priced at Rs. 6,990. The tablet is an upgraded version of E-Tab Xtron tablet which is priced at Rs. Rs 6,500. The new tablet include Android 4.2 and 3700 mAh battery instead of Android 4.1 and 3500 mAh battery present in its predecessor. Besides these, Xtron and Xtron Plus share the same specifications.

However the specifications of the new Lava Xtron Plus has a 7-inch IPS touchscreen display with the resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. The device runs on dual-core Cortex A9 processor clocked to 1.5GHz and is supported by 1GB RAM. Further, the tablet houses 2 megapixel rear camera along with a VGA front-facing camera and comes with an 8GB of internal storage capacity which can be further extended up to 32GB via microSD card slot.

Here are the comparisons of specs and features of the tablets mentioned above.
