Lenovo Announces Y70 Touch: 17-Inch Gaming Laptop Showcased at IFA 2014
While the world keeps turning everyday with most things changing their course overtime, the gaming industry continues to thrive. And Lenovo has become the latest name to tap into the industry with the announcement of its brand new Y70 Touch gaming laptop.
Taking the center-stage at this year's IFA, Lenovo not only announced its brand new Tab S8 slate offering, but also made use of the opportunity to announce its new and upcoming Y70 Touch gaming laptop. In fact, it's also backed by another high-def Lenovo ERAZER X315 gaming PC.

"Our latest consumer tablet and PCs give consumers even more choice so they can select the right device that fits best into their mobile lifestyle," said Jeff Meredith, vice president, marketing, Mobile Business Group, Lenovo. "From the super mobile TAB S8 tablet to the Y70 and ERAZER X315 gaming PC, we've optimized each one to meet the diverse needs of customers."
Promised to deliver extreme performance for HD gaming, the Lenovo Y70 Touch offers up to 4th generation Intel Core i7 processor and powerful NVIDIA GTX graphics, that's ideal for both heavy entertainment and HD gaming.

At 17-inches, the Y70 Touch has become Lenovo's largest touchscreen laptop. The Laptop also delivers dedicated audio and visual experience, alongside a FHD display that brings movies and games to life with enhanced color, clarity and resolution.
Under 7.5 pounds, the Y70 Touch is comparatively thinner and lighter than most other laptops in the same class, courtesy of its external optical disc drive that supports both DVD and Blu-ray. The Y70 Touch also features up to five hours of battery life and customizable memory and storage options, with up to 16GB DDR3L and 1TB of SSHD storage or 256GB SSD storage.

Lenovo's ERAZER X315 gaming PC, on the other hand, features AMD Radeon R9 series graphics, a quad-core processor and up to 2TB of SSHD. The company says that the PC combines "power and speed" and "allows users to play the most intense games seamlessly without lag."
Other features of this new gaming PC include up to 12GB of memory, four USB 3.0 ports and always-on USB charging port for enhanced connectivity. It also offers immersive audio featuring 7.1 channel sound support and Dolby enhancements.
