China-based leading smartphone and PC maker Lenovo has launched a new budget-friendly 14-inch two-in-one laptop in India, named Flex 2. With a touchscreen display that flips 300 degrees from laptop to stand mode, the new laptop is priced at Rs. 42,290.

The 14-inch graphite grey models with the Core i3 and Core i5 processors are widely available in all major retail formats. Flex 2 will be available online in four color variants including red, neon yellow, graphite grey and moon white. All will be exclusively available on thedostore.com and will come with an additional 2 year warranty.

Lenovo Flex 2: Key Specifications

As far as specs are concerned, the 2-in1 notebook comes with a 14-inch HD (1366 x 768) and will also be offered in 15.6-inch HD (1366 x 768) display. It is powered by Intel Core i7 processor coupled with a 16GB DDR3L and runs on Windows 8.1 OS. The device measures at 343 mm x 255 mm x 22.4 mm and offers a 500 GB hard internal memory. It weighs 1.9 kg and battery-wise, it offers up to 6 hours WiFi browsing. The Flex 2 also features a stereo speakers with Dolby Advanced Audio V2.

It's 300-degree hinge mechanism is a huge advantage for students who want to make the most of both work and play.

Backlit Keyboard

The Flex 2's backlit keyboard is also perfect for usage in low-light conditions. The acclaimed AccuType keyboard is ergonomically designed to make typing more comfortable and to reduce errors. When focusing on touch applications, web chatting, or enjoying a film or video, the Flex 2's screen can be flipped 300 degrees to enter stand mode.

It comes equipped with Lenovo Recommended Apps, which suggests apps that are best suited to the device's current mode.
