Lenovo Launches A8-50 Tablet with 8-inch HD Display at Rs 17,490

Lenovo launched a couple of tablets called the A7-30 and the A7-50 tablets a couple of weeks ago and now the company has launched latest A8-50 in India just recently. This is the company's latest A series tablet to buy in India. It is priced at Rs. 17,490 and is available via online retailer Flipkart.

The Lenovo A8-50 tablet comes in a range of colors, but it is available in India only in Midnight Blue color.

Lenovo A8-50: Key Specifications

The Lenovo A8-50 comes with an 8-inch (1280 x 800 pixels) capacitive touchscreen display. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek 8382 processor coupled with a 1GB RAM. It runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean), which is said to be upgradable to Android 4.4 (KitKat).

Internal storage capacity seats at 16GB and it is further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.

The latest Lenovo tablet features a 5MP rear camera and a 2MP front-facing snapper as well. Connectivity options include WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS. It has a single SIM card slot with 3G data connectivity and comes with voice calling capabilities too.

The Lenovo A8-50 which measures 8.9 mm thick and weighs 360 grams draws its energy from a 4200 mAh battery.

Additionally, the new tablet device also uses a powerful audio hardware. It has a dual front-facing speakers with Dolby Digital Plus.

There are not much tablets in this price range off late. More tablet devices can be bought under Rs. 10,000 price bracket. Thus, it might take a bit of hardship for the new tablet to become popular or even have a better sales numbers.
