Connectivity options include GPS, Micro USB (OTG function), 802.11bgn WiFi, and Bluetooth. The device which measures 7.9mm thin and weighs 246grams comes fueled by a 3450mAh Li-Ion polymer battery, which according to the company offers more than 8 hours of life to the tablet.
After having gone through the specs, the tablet is not much of a standard device as it lacks SIM card slot, which makes it unable to make voice calls. Also another downside of the tablet is that it doesn't run on the latest Android software and instead features pretty old one.
Apart from that, the company has not mentioned anything regarding the memory expansion slot. However, the internal memory is stated as 16GB.
Competition
Since there are several latest tablets being launched in the Indian market with a better hardware and software components off late, the latest offering from Lenovo might have to face a bit hard competition. To name few devices that would rival against the latest Lenovo S5000, the most potential candidates would be the Acer Iconia A1-713 and Flipkart Digiflip Pro XT 712 among others.
