Lenovo Tab 2 A8 with 8-inch Display, 4G Connectivity Announced

    In the MWC 2015, which is happening in Barcelona, Spain now has seen lots of devices from various manufacturers. One such company is the China based mobile and tablet manufacturer, Lenovo has announced, a voice calling tablet under the A series. Dubbed as Tab 2 A8, it offers dual front-facing stereo speakers, along with Dolby Atmos, which gives a very good surrounding sound for the users.

    Lenovo Tab 2 A8, sports a 8-inch capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT8161/ MT8735 processor, besides 1GB RAM. On the storage, it comes in two variant like 8GB/16GB built-in memory, with an expansion of up to 32GB via microSD card. This slate measures 8.9mm thickness and weighs around 360 grams.

    On the imaging factor, it features a 5MP rear camera, 2MP front-facing camera and it is shipped with Android Lollipop 5.0 out of the box.

    On the connectivity option, it supports 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, dual front-facing speakers, Dolby ATMOS 3D Surround Sound and powered by a huge 4200 mAh battery.

    Coming in Pearl White, Ebony, Midnight Blue, Neon Pink, Lenovo Tab 2 A8, price starts at $129 (approx Rs. 7,950) for the Wi-Fi variant and $179 (approx Rs. 11,000) for the LTE variant. This device will hit the market shelves in the coming June.
