South Korean smartphone maker LG, made its latest G Pad tablet series- consisting of the G Pad 7.0, G Pad 8.0 and G Pad 10.1 official back in May 2-14, and the company started rolling out these devices globally since June.

Today the company has announced that the G Pad 10.1 would roll out globally starting from this month. The largest one in the latest batch of tablets from LG will be offered in Black and Red colors. It would roll out globally starting from United States followed by other markets in Europe, Asia and Latin America later in the month.

However, Samsung's native rival has not officially revealed the pricing of the device as of now but according to the reports online, it will be announced locally as prices would vary between different markets.

The family of Android-powered tablets includes a lot of features which we have seen in the company's lineup of smartphones. And though, IDC and Gartner reports suggest that LG has fallen behind on the tablet race, this latest line-up would for sure make other tablet makers a bit worried.

LG G Pad 10.1: Key Specifications

LG G Pad 10.1 feature a big 10.1-inch (1280 x 800 pixels) IPS display and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor coupled with 1GB RAM and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) OS. It has a pretty decent 5MP rear camera and a 1.3MP front-facing camera as well. Moreover, buyers will also get to use its 16GB internal storage freely, as it comes with microSD card slot via which you can expand the memory. It measures 260.9 x 165.9 x 8.9mm and weighs 523g and includes WiFi, Bluetooth and a powerful 8000 mAh battery.

Talking about features, users will find a Touch & Shoot, Gesture Shot, Smart Keyboard and Dual Window mode and more. The QPair 2.0 is also integrated in this tablet which will enable users to connect it to other Android-powered tablets and smartphones via a simple Bluetooth to receive notifications of calls and messages on that and respond directly from the G Pad. Another important feature- KnockCode security, and Smart Keyboard is also included in the tablet.
