LG G Pad 7.0, 8.0, 10.1 to Get Lollipop 5.0 Update on April 12

    South-Korean electronic giant, LG has announced the roll out of Lollipop 5.0 update for the LG G Pad 7.0, 8.0, and 10.1. As per the company, all these three device will be treated with Lollipop 5.0 from April 12.

    According to the company, it says the updates will be available to download on its website as well, so perhaps you'll be able to grab the necessary files and install them through your computer.

    All the devices are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz, 1 GB of RAM, with a resolution of 800 x 1280 pixel display of different sizes ranging from 7-inches, 8-inches, and 10.1-inches.

    On the other hand, Lollipop update comes with new material design which offers a bold, colorful and responsive UI, refreshing notification system.

    It will also allow the users to see the notification in the lock screen and they will get displayed like banners on the top of the screen.

    Additionally, there is a do-not-disturb feature added to the notification bar. This update also contains battery optimization, which includes battery saver mode, job scheduling and a new developer tool called Battery Historian which tracks the battery consumption by an application.
