Micromax, which largely produces entry level tablets, has come up with two new slates in Indian market, the Canvas Tab P650E and Funbook Mini P410i.
The Canvas Tab P650E is a CDMA version of the Canvas Tab P650, a high-end tablet by today's standards.The latter tablet was launched in India last year with much fanfare.
Users can immediately buy the Canvas Tab P650E at Rs. 8,999 via e-retailers. On the other hand, the Funbook Mini P410i has been listed on the company's official website.

The Canvas Tab P650E features a 7-inch display and runs the old version of Android mobile OS (Ice Cream Sandwich).
It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor coupled with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory, which can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card slot.
On the imaging front, the tablet incorporates a 2MP rear-facing camera, and a VGA quality shooter given in the front.
On the down side, the makers have added a 3000mAh battery fitted inside
The Canvas Tab P650E supports single SIM functionality with support for CDMA networks.
Micromax Funbook Mini P410i- Highlighted Specifications
The Funbook Mini P410i tablet device packs a 7-inch TFT LCD display having a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. The Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean powered tablet supports dual-SIM support with added voice calling feature.
On the surface, the tablet is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, backed by 1GB of RAM and 4GB of inbuilt storage, which can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card. There's a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera without an LED Flash. Also add a 2MP front-facing camera.
The makers have added a 2800mAh battery, which can last up to 6 hours of talk time and up to 120 hours of standby time. No update on its price or retail availability.
