Micromax Canvas Tab P666 Unveiled with Aluminium Frame, Intel Atom CPU at Rs 11,000

It's been so long, that the Indian handset manufacturer Micromax has set its foot in the tablet arena. To make up the gap, the Indian smartphone company has unveiled a Canvas tablet powered by a Intel Atom processor. The body of the tablet is built with Aluminium and Glass, with thickness of 7.9mm.

Micromax Canvas Tab P666 sports a 8-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280x800 pixels. It is powered by a Intel Atom processor along with 1GB of RAM. This tablet is entirely different from P650m which is powered by a Cortex-A7 chipset. It is equipped with an internal storage of 8GB, with no option for expansion. Compared to its predecessor, it has sharper screen with 189ppi and thinner too.

On the camera front, P666 features 5MP rear camera which is capable of recording 1080p, 2MP front facing camera. It runs on the latest version of Android KitKat 4.4. This canvas tablet is powered by a 4400mAh battery, which gives 6 hours of browsing time, 7 hours of video playback and 15 hours of talk time.

Moving on to the connectivity, it suuports 3G connectivity, (HSPA 21Mbps) with voice call feature, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 4.0, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, FM.

Coming in Magnetic Black and Puritan White, this Micromax Canvas Tab P666 is available in India at a price of Rs. 11,000 across the leading retail stores.
