Micromax Rolls Out 7 Inch Funbook P365 and P256 Tablets: Price Starts At Rs 5,400
Apart from the array of smartphones that Micromax has been launching in the Indian market of late, the leading Indian smartphone vendor has also silently released two of its latest tablet devices in the market today.
The tablets come dubbed as Funbook P365 and the Funbook P256 and are pretty affordable at Rs. 7,990 and Rs. 5,400 respectively. They can be bought from eBay and other e-commerce sites as well.

Both these tablets come with a 7 inch display but has a minute differences in the resolution, camera, battery and also connectivity.

Lets look at the differences between the two of the company's latest tablets:
Display
Both the Funbook P365 and the Funbook P256 tablets come with a 7 inch capacitive touch screen display offering a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels .
Processor, RAM and OS
The Funbook P365 is powered by a 1.2 GHz Cortex A9 processor and Mali 400 GPU coupled with 1GB of RAM and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). On the other hand the Funbook P256 is powered by a 1.2 GHz single-core Cortex A8 processor coupled with 512MB RAM and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) OS.
Storage
Both the tablets come with a 4GB internal memory which can be expanded up to 32GB using microSD card.
Connectivity
The P365 comes with a 2G SIM slot and voice calling facility while the P256 doesn't have a SIM slot. Both the tablets support 3G via dongle. Apart from these WiFi and USB 2.0 can also be found in both these devices.
Camera
The Funbook P365 features a 2MP rear camera and a front facing 0.3MP VGA snapper. On the other hand, Funbook P256 comes with a comparatively better 3MP rear camera and a 1.3MP front-facing shooter
Battery
Micromax Funbook P365 is powered by a 2800 mAh battery and the Funbook P256 uses a bit more capable 3000 mAh battery.
Conclusion
The two above mentioned tablets come with a similar specs. However, minute differences can be seen. In fact, the company has built these devices in such a way that both are equally capable of doing particular work. The cheaper Funbook P256 which lacks voice call comes with a better camera features. However, it has older operating system lesser RAM and also less battery. Thus opting the Funbook P365 would definitely be a better choice.
