Samsung is not the only brand busy in churning hell lot of products. There is a brand, an Indian manufacturer, who is doing every bit to get maximum attention. Of course, it's Micromax. The makers behind the Micromax A116 Canvas HD have launched a new 3G tablet.
The device comes with a one year warranty and as of now - exclusive to Snapdeal. The Micromax Funbook P600 comes with a price tag of Rs. 9,499.
Micromax Funbook P600 - Specifications and Features
Micromax is synonymous to budget tablets. The company presently has the largest share in the Indian tablet market. Features such as 3G and Voice calling, are the most preferred demands from the consumers. But they come with a hefty price tag. To simplify a little bit, Micromax has finally succeeded in packaging both 3G and voice calling into single tablet.
Funbook P600 comes with a standard 7-inch display with multi touch support , 1GHz Dual Core processor ,Android 4.0 ICS, 512MB of RAM , 2GB of internal memory (expanded via micro SD cards), a 2-mega pixel rear camera but no front facing camera, Wi-Fi, 3G and weighs around 370grams. But all like all tablets, this device from Micromax, has some goof ups. For instance, Bluetooth and A-GPS are missing, all together. The device even fell flat due to the lack of HDMI port.
Again, the Micromax Funbook P600, is not complete, but the coming of 3G and voice calling, adds charm. Under the price bracket of Rs. 8,000 to Rs 10,000, getting a 3G tablet is rather tough. The nearest rival to the Micromax Funbook P600 is a tablet from Zync.
Micromax Funbook P600 vs. Zync Z1000
The Zync Z1000 is a brand new tablet from the India -based tablet maker. Well, going by the specifications, Gizbot rate the tablet way above the Micromax Funbook P600.
In terms of features, the Zync Z1000 has a large 9.7-inch IPS display (1024 X 786) pixels, an HDMI port and Bluetooth connectivity, which consumers find it missing in the Funbook P600. Specifications wise, the device comes with 1.5 GHz Dual Core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal memory (expanded via micro SD cards), a 2-mega pixels rear camera and 0.3-mega pixels front facing camera.
The tablet is powered by Android 4.0 ICS, but manufacturer will provide Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, in future updates. The manufacturer has priced the tablet pretty down to the earth. Consumers have to pay a cool Rs. 10,990, to get their hands on the Zync Z1000 tablet.
