Bending the hardware and software of the device, which suits the requirement of the target customers, is not a big-thing as we have already seen a number of devices, especially tablets curved out for students, off late. However, so far, Windows running slates were quite missing the fun in this section. But wait, this time Microsoft has officially launched its Windows 8.1 tablet in the Indian market.
The tablet called Iconia W4-820, which most Windows' fans are quite familiar with, comes from Chinese PC maker Acer. The software giant has in fact collaborated with Acer, MBD Group and Tata Tele-services to offer this tablet for private schools in India. The tablet comes with a price tag of Rs 24,999.
