MWC 2015: Sony Xperia Z4 with Octa-Core CPU, 3GB RAM Launched

Here comes the biggie! The Japanese tech giant Sony has launched its most awaited slimmest and lightest Xperia Z4 tablet in the market. This giant slate runs on Snapdragon 810 Octa-Core CPU and will be shipped with Android Lollipop 5.0 out of the box.

One of the most interesting feature our eyes got glued to, is that if you plug in your headphone or headsets, it will detect the device and adjusts its settings accordingly with surround sound audio effects. And also, it supports, Hi-Res audio playback and digital noise canceling.

Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet - Key Specifications

Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet, flaunts a 10.1-inch display with a resolution of 2560×1600 pixels. It is clocked at 2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 810, 64-bit Octa Core and Adreno 430 GPU along with 3GB RAM. On the memory, it has 32GB flash memory, which can be expandable up to 128GB via microSD card slot.

This slate measures 6.1mm thickness with weight of 389gm for Wi-Fi only, 393gm for Wi-Fi + LTE. This Z4 tablet is shipped with Android Lollipop 5.0 on top of the tablet there is an optimized Xperia launcher.

Moving to the camera department, it flaunts a 8MP rear camera, 5MP front camera under the hood. This tablet is rated under IP65 and IP68, which is waterproof and dustproof too.

The connectivity options include GSM, GPRS/EDGE, 2G, UMTS, HSPA 3G, LTE 4G, aGPS, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi and powered by a 6000 mAh battery under the hood, which promises 17 hours of video playback.

As there is no official word on the pricing, the Sony Xperia Z4 tablet see a global roll-out from June 2015.
