Nexus 7: Next Gen Tablet to Debut at Google I/O to take on iPad Mini 2
If you are planning to get Nexus 7 this summer then wait for few more months, as Google could announce updated Asus manufactured tablet at Google I/O 2013. The Software giant has planned to announce Nexus 7 with Full HD display at the upcoming developer's conference to rival the highly anticipated iPad Mini 2.
The updated version will arrive with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. AppleInsider has reported that Ming-Chi Kuo, a research analyst at KGI Research is believed to have some kind of information in regards to much improved Nexus 7.
The upcoming device will retain same screen size instead it will now feature a resolution of 1,920 X 1200 pixels. The original version had a resolution of 1,280 X 800 pixels making the display capable of having 720p HD resolution. The new Nexus 7 will be sold via same route; online as well as through retailers. It will likely cost around $200 in the International market.

Google is likely to lose $5 to $10 per unit, as the newer version is expensive to manufacture in comparison to first generation Nexus 7. On the specifications side, it boasts of Qualcomm processor, Qi wireless charging, NFC, and a 4,000mAh battery inside. In the camera department, the tablet will have a 5-mega pixel rear facing camera. No word on whether the tablet device graces India in the month of June- July frame.
The makers behind Chromebook pixel also plans to announce many other products in the coming months. Some of them could be one of them: Android Book laptop, a smart watch, and over-the-top" (OTT) TV Box, among others. In the small screen tablets Google faces rather stiff competition with Apple iPad Mini, and Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 devices.
