Microsoft, Intel, Snapdeal.com and Notion Ink today announced the launch of Cain 8. Powered by the Intel Atom Processor Z3735F, and running Windows 8.1, Cain 8 is priced at Rs. 9,990, and is exclusively available on Snapdeal.com, India's largest online marketplace.

As far as the specs are concerned, as the name suggests, it is an 8-inch tablet powered by Microsoft's Windows 8.1 OS. Under the hood, the device is delivered energy by Intel Atom processor. However, the company has not revealed the processor clock and whether or not it is a quad core or a dual core. The online retailer has, however, listed other details on specifications.

It has 3G connectivity via SIM card slot. In terms of storage, the tablet uses 16GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded via microSD. Other specification include: Mini HDMI port and the usual set of connectivity features such as WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth. It has USB OTG (on the go) support that lets you connect hard disks. It has dual speakers on the back, 2-megapixel front-facing and a 2-megapixel rear camera. It packs a 4000mAh battery.
