Nvidia's Own Tegra Tabs with Tegra 4 Chipset Coming To Pose A Serious Threat to Nexus 7

When Nexus 7 was launched in 2012, it wasn't the product of Google and Asus alone, however, Nvidia's Kai program was also involved in the making of the flagship device. Now the buzz is that Nvidia is going to launch it's very own tablet brand dubbed as Nvidia Tegra Tab very soon.

Nvidia's Own Tegra Tabs with Tegra 4 Chipset Coming Against Nexus 7

According to multiple sources, specially; WEBTREK, MYDRIVERS, an image of a 7 inch Tegra Tab from NVIDIA has been leaked online. There is apparently no abundant information regarding the tablet but it has been informed reportedly that apart from the 7-inch display, the tablet would come powered by a Tegra 4 chipset. Further, it might have an 8 or 5-megapixel auto focus camera on the back and would run on Android 4.2 operating system.

One can also see the stylus slot on the top corner on the back of the tablet, thus stylus could be an added advantage for this tablet. Observing the image, the analysts also predict that the device is apparently made of ABS material.

On the connectivity front, it could include USB port, 3.5mm audio jack and HDMI port which is visible in the leak. Further, there is also a presence of power button, volume rocker and rear camera.

To talk about the design, it looks more like the Nexus 7, as it has the familiar texture and the material is also identical. Hence, the new Tegra Tab could pose a serious threat to the Google Nexus tablet, especially if it comes with a1080p display considering the presence of Tegra 4 chipset.

Online reports also suggest that the Tegra tab will supposedly launch in China first. However, as of now, there is no information on the price of the tablet and other specs will also remain in the dark, till the tablet officially arrives in the market.
