Pantel Technologies To Launch Full HD Tablets, Dual Core Phablet and A New Feature Phone in 2014

Delhi NCR based Pantel Technologies recently teamed up with the State-owned telecom operator BSNL with the launch of India's most cost effective Internet ready phone, and also has plans to enter high-end tablet market next year.

On the sidelines of the launch of devices , the senior executive at Pantel technologies disclosed plans to launch two new Full HD tablets, a phablet and lastly more advance feature phone sometime early next year.

Pantel Technologies is an emerging hardware company, and aims to make big mark in the Indian tablet market in years to come. The team behind ‘Bharat Phone' will be seen launching a 10-inch Full HD tablet around March next year.

Exclusive: Pantel Tecnologies To Announce Full HD Tablets Next Year

The said tablet device will have a 10-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It will be stuffed with a quad-core processor coupled with 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal memory which can be further expanded up to 64GB via microSD card slot. We were informed that the tablet will run the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean out of the box.

Further, the executive also mentioned saying that the 10-inch FHD tablet will primarily being aimed at educational market. Moreover, the tablet would come pre-loaded with educational content as well. The senior executive at Pantel Technologies clearly declined to reveal the exact details around chipset and retail price. Watch this space for more action!

Aside from a 10-inch Full HD tablet, the tech vendor may announce an 8-inch Full HD tablet in March next year. The tablet shares similar hardware configurations and features with a 10-inch FHD tablet that is due around same period. The Android 4.3 Jelly Bean powered tablet will have an 8-inch IPS display with Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080) pixels. Further, the tablet will have a quad-core processor backed by 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal memory which can be further expanded via a microSD card slot.

While interacting with a senior executive during a press meet held in Delhi on November 29, GizBot also got to know that the tech vendor is excited to launch a dual-core phablet. The device will be powered by Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. It will be powered by a dual-core processor with inbuilt memory of either 4GB or 8GB. The phablet is expected to be rolled out by April-May time frame. No further details were provided to us during conversation.

On the lines of ‘Bharat Phone', Pantel Technologies will bring another feature phone early next year. The said feature phone will have a 2.4-inch display with similar internal hardware specs compared to the company's BharatPhone. The executive declined to comment about retail pricing.
