Samsung 11.6 Inch Full HD AMOLED Tablet Coming Soon to Combat iPad 4 and Sony Xperia Z
It is very likely that Apple would be planning another sensational iPad to conquer market shares against Android and Windows offerings prevailing in the market. While on the other hand, the same device is also going to rival Samsung Galaxy Tablets. The South Korean giant's tablet range includes the Galaxy Tab 7.0, Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, Galaxy Tab 7.7 and more budget tabs selling like hot cakes in India.
But now Samsung is reportedly in plans to work on the premium successor of Galaxy Tab 7.7. The predecessor tablet secured the title of "best tablet in the international market," flaunting its astounding Super AMOLED Plus display a couple of years back. And now, as per the recent SamMobile report, the tech titan is thinking on bringing out a premium tablet measuring either 10.1 inches or 11.6 inches display tablet.

Also the report has revealed citing an alleged Samsung insider, the Samsung has made prototypes with different screen sizes as well.
The source also disclosed in the report that Samsung's latest Exynos processors will power these slates, and hopefully Android 4.2 or 5.0 Key Lime Pie will be under the hood. Further, there was no word on when the Galaxy Tab with Super AMOLED will arrive. Although, chances are that Samsung might release these new tabs at IFA Berlin 2013 in Germany along with Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Tab 3.
If the rumors turn out to be true then the tabs will stand directly against the newly launched Apple iPads and Sony Xperia Tablet Z majorly apart from the other Android offerings in the market.
Claimed to be the slimmest tablet launched so far, Xperia Z has already been launched in India and the tablet measures 6.9 mm in thickness. Further, Xperia Z packs a 10.1 inch Reality Display with a full HD screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2, 1.5GHz quad core processor, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS, 8MP Exynos R rear camera, 2MP front camera for video chatting, 16GB/32GB onboard storage, 2GB RAM, a micro SD card slot supporting expandable storage, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, LTE and a 6,000 mAh battery.
Detailing on the specifications of iPad 4, the tablet boasts a 9.7 inch LED-backlit Multi-Touch display with IPS technology with 2048 x 1536 pixel resolution with the Retina Display technology, Apple A6X processor, iOS 6 operating system, 5MP iSight rear camera, 1.2MP FaceTime HD camera for video calling, 16GB/32GB/64GB internal storage, 512MB RAM, Lightning port, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and a 42.5 Whr Li-ion battery offering about 10 hours of backup.
As far as the Indian market is concerned, iPad 4 is priced at Rs 31,900 and Rs 39,900 for 16GB Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi+Cellular, Rs 37,900 and Rs 45,900 for 32GB Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi+Cellular and Rs 43,900 and Rs 51,900 for 64GB Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi+Cellular models respectively.
