Samsung is prepping a tablet with display size larger than 12-inches. The South Korean giant is indeed coming with a tablet with largest display, claims a new report. Earlier also reports have come up in respect to Samsung's 12.2-inches tablet.
It is said that Samsung is making a 12.2-inch tablet because Apple has also planned a similar sized tablet. Sam Mobile writes "Samsung and is trying to create a new market segment to sway consumers away from smaller-sized devices". The latest report by Korea's Economic Daily says that Samsung could launch its 12-inch tablet in the month of October. The launch date is speculated to be in October, but Samsung may announce the tablet in September at IFA Berlin. The display size of the tablet is unknown at this hour.
Moreover, Twitter sensation @evleaks has tweeted about Samsung's 12.2-inch tablet. Reportedly, Samsung SM-P900 is a 12.2-inch tablet having resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. The device will be powered by Exynos 5 octa-core processor. Further, the tablet is said to be a part of famed Note series with S -Pen, among other features. There's another unannounced tablet SM-P600 with 10-inch display having resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. This very device will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor.
Few days ago, GizBot informed Samsung tested its new slate SM-P905 at its Bangalore based R&D center. The tablet went through the rigorous testing and evaluation purpose. Most likely, this very version would take some time to get announced.
Reportedly, M-P900, the rumored tablet was spotted on Samsung site under User Agents Profiles. Later Japanese blog RB MEN revealed three variants of leaked SM-P900: SM-P900 - 3G, SM-P901 - Wi-Fi, and SM-P905 - LTE. Some reports went on saying that Samsung could be preparing Galaxy Tab 3 Plus. The truth is yet to becracked. Wait for IFA Berlin!
