Samsung Rolling out Android 5.0 Lollipop OTA Update for Galaxy Tab S 10.5 4G Models

Recently, Samsung has been rolling out the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop update to the devices in its portfolio. The next device in its portfolio to taste this update is apparently the LTE version of the Galaxy Tab S 10.5. Previously, the Wi-Fi only variant of this tablet got the Android 5.0.2 OTA update.

As of now, this update is limited to Europe, with Slovenia, Czech Republic, Croatia and Switzerland users. Moreover, this update comes in 1.7GB size and carries a model name of T805XXU1BOCC.

Recapping the specifications, this Galaxy Tab S 10.5 was launched on June 2014 and sports a 10.5-inch display with a 2560x1600 pixels. It is powered by a 1.3GHz Octa-core Exynos 5 Octa processor along with 3GB RAM.

On the storage front, Tab S 10.5 is equipped with 16GB of internal memory, with an expansion slot of up to 128GB in the microSD card.

Moving on to the camera, it flaunts a 8MP rear camera with a flash, 2.1MP front camera on board. This Galaxy Tab S 10.5 runs on Android KitKat 4.4 out of the box.

Connectivity options includes Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0 along with some sensors like Compass/ Magnetometer, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor, Gyroscope and powered by a 7900mAh battery under the hood.
