Simmtronics XPAD Freedom: Voice-calling Android Tablet Launched at Rs 13,999
Delhi based manufacturer, Simmtronics, has recently launched its latest device called the XPAD Freedom tablet as a part of its XPAD series. It has priced the slate at Rs. 13,999 but the device is not available at the moment. However, Flipkart has listed the device as 'coming soon' category.

Going by the specs, the XPAD Freedom tablet features a 7.8-inch capacitive touchscreen IPS display which offers a resolution of 1024x768 pixels.
It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. Further the tablet runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. When it comes to storage capacity, it includes 8GB of inbuilt storage, which can be further expanded up to 32GB using microSD card.
Moving on to a camera, it sports a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing snapper as well.
The tablet comes with a regular connectivity options like, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, Micro-HDMI and 3G. It is also a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) device with voice-calling support.
It packs a 5,000mAh battery which the company claims can deliver up to 5 hours of Web browsing time and up to 6 hours of video browsing time. The tablet comes preloaded with apps like Documents To Go, Skype, BIGFLIX, YouTube among others.
Simmtronics is also said to offer a free tablet cover worth Rs. 1,999 with every XPAD Freedom tablet.
Earlier this year, Simmtronics launched XPAD Mini tablet with Android 4.2 launched for Rs. 9,999. other devices from the company falling under XPAD line up are, XPAD-XQ1, XPAD X-722, XPAD X720, XPAD 801, XPAD X1010 and XPAD 802 tablets.
