From the post on Facebook, it is clear that Stellar Slatepad boasts a 7 inch capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels, 1GHz processor, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS, 4GB internal storage, 512MB RAM, micro SD card slot, Wi-Fi, 3G voice calling, Bluetooth 4.0, 3.2MP rear camera, 1.3MP front camera for video calling and a 3,000 mAh battery.

While there is no official confirmation from Spice regarding the price of the tablet, numerous media reports claim that it will be priced at Rs 9,999. Moreover, the listing makes it clear that consumers will avail a free leather cover along with the purchase of Stellar Slatepad.

Spice vs Micromax vs Karbonn - 3G Calling Tablet Fight

At a price of Rs 9,999, the Stellar Slatepad will definitely be a stiff competitor to the existing 3G voice calling tablets launched by other companies including Micromax and Karbonn. Recently, Micromax launched Funbook 3G P560 at Rs 8,799 and Karbonn came up with TA-Fone A37 at Rs 9,499.

On the other hand, TA-Fone A37 packs a 7 inch capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, 1GHz dual core processor, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS, 2MP rear camera, 0.3MP front camera, 4GB internal storage, 512MB RAM, micro SD card slot supporting up to 32GB additional storage, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, in-built 3G support for voice calling and a 3,000 mAh battery of undisclosed backup.

Hence, it can be said that Stellar Slatepad has a better camera spec as compared to the Karbonn and Micromax tabets.
