Swipe MTV Slate 7 Inch Tablet Launched with Quad Core Processor at Rs 14,999
Swipe has quite a number of tablets in its pocket and almost all of the devices are priced around Rs. 10,000 or below. The collaboration with the MTV has worked well with Swipe and it already has a good line up of devices like the MTV Swipe Volt Tablet, Swipe MTV Slash Tablet and Swipe MTV Volt 1000. However, the collaborative effort has given birth to one more tablet called Swipe MTV Slate. The tablet comes at the price of Rs. 14,999.

XXLet us have a look at the specs of the recently launched Swipe MTV Slate tablet:
The Swipe MTV Slate features a 7.85-inch HD IPS display with a resolution of 1024x768 pixels which is an average display. The newly launched tablet is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Cortex A7 processor along with the support of 1GB DDRIII RAM. The tablet runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.
For imaging, swipe MTV Slate sports a 5-megapixel rear camera along with a front-facing VGA camera. The device also houses 8GB of internal storage capacity which can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card.
For connectivity, the tablet comes with SIM card support which obviously means that there is a voice-calling feature. Apart from this, it also comes with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and 3G. Weighing 400 grams, the tablet is powered by a 3200mAh battery.
Looking at the specs of the newly launched tablet from Swipe, it is sure to face a direct threat from almost all major tablets like Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 and Tab 3, Nexus 7, Asus Fonepad. Talking about domestic tablets, MTV Slate has become one of the most expensive one so far. Thus it will surely have a feedback on the price factor. However, at Rs. 15,000, the tablet is quite decent and the specs are also pretty good.
