Videocon forays in tablet segment with VT10: Will it outsmart Karbonn Smart Tab 10?
It was just yesterday, when Videocon unleashed its Android powered dual-SIM smartphones A20 and A30 and today, the India based manufacturer has launched a 10-inch tablet - VT10. Priced at Rs.11, 200, the newly launched tablet is now on sale boasting smart looks and performance with a multi-touch IPS display and 1.5 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon Processor.
Further, VT10 is 10.3mm thick and has a weight of about 650g accompanied with features including 1 GB RAM, 2 Mega-pixel front camera, 2 Mega-pixel rear camera and a 6800mAh battery. It has an internal memory of 8GB and an expandable memory up to 32 GB with micro SD.
The device runs on Android 4.1 and has Wi-Fi connectivity and 3G dongle support. In addition, the tablet also features some pre-loaded apps including Saavn, Nimbuzz, NexGtv, Facebook and more. It also has USB and HDMI ports.

This new tablet from Videocon is sure to pose as competition to the recently launched Karbonn Smart Tab 10, a 9.7-inch tablet which also comes with a 1.5 GHz dual core processor powered by Android Jelly Bean.
The company has made a sharp re-entry with good smartphones and a tablet after its absence from both the smartphone and tablet market for two years. The newly launched devices of Videocon seem to give good value-for-money. Hopes are now high for the company with expectations of the buyers reaching new levels awaiting similar products in the following years.
