India Based smartphone and tablet vendor, Wickedleak has recently launched its latest Wammy Ethos Tab 3 in the Indian market. The company has put the tablet on pre-booking on its official site. The device is very leniently priced at Rs. 10,990 and the slate will definitely run against most of the fellow rival tablets from Micromax, Karbonn, Intex and even iBall and HCL as well.
The latest Wammy Ethos Tab 3 uses a 7-inch capacitive touch screen IPS display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels.
Powering the slate is a 1.2 GHz quad-core MediaTek MTK8389 processor coupled with a 1GB DDR3 RAM and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) OS.
Camera-wise, the tablet makes a full use of a 5-megapixel rear camera with flash and a sufficient 2-megapixel front-facing camera for taking selfies and making a video calling.
The buyers will find a range of connectivity options in the tablet including 3G (via SIM card slot), WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS. Additionally there is also a Dual SIM (2G + 3G) support with dual standby incorporated in the Wammy Ethos Tab 3. Yes, its a voice calling tablet.
The on-board storage capacity is limited to 8GB internal memory but there is a microSD card slot which supports up to 32GB expandable memory. The tablet comes powered by a 3500 mAh battery.
