Xiaomi MiPad Launched at a Price of Rs 12,999; Sale Scheduled on March 24

    Xiaomi, launched Mi Pad tablet, in addition to that of Redmi 2 smartphone in an event few days back in the Indian market. This tablet comes with NVIDIA Tegra K1 processor and will be available on the e-retail store Flipkart, unlike other Xiaomi devices, without any registration starting from March 24th.

    Xiaomi MiPad, flaunts a 7.9-inch display with a resolution of 2048×1536 pixels, which is translated into 326 ppi with 4:3 aspect ratio and protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is clocked at 2.2 GHz NVIDIA Tegra K1 processor with 192-core Kepler GPU along with 2GB RAM. Moreover, on the storage it has 16GB of internal storage, with an expansion slot of up to 128GB via microSD card slot.

    Coming to the imaging factor, it sports a 8MP rear camera with Sony BSI stacked sensor, 1080p video recording, f/2.0 aperture, 5MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture and it is shipped with Android-based MiUI ROM. This slate measures 8.5mm thickness and weighs around 360grams.
