Acer Iconia Duo S14 Tablet with OLED Display and MediaTek Chip Launched Alongside Affordable S12 & D12 Models
Acer is expanding its Android tablet range with three new Acer Iconia Duo models ahead of Computex 2026. The Iconia Duo S14, Iconia Duo S12 and Iconia Duo D12 share a 3:2 display, Android 16, microSD expansion and optional accessories, but target different users through varied screens, processors and batteries.
All three Acer Iconia Duo tablets are built around a 3:2 aspect ratio that aims to balance work and entertainment. Acer positions this format as suitable for reading documents, browsing and streaming, while Android 16 support, up to 10 hours of claimed battery life and expandable storage up to 1 TB add everyday flexibility.

Acer Iconia S14 Duo
Across the Acer Iconia Duo range, each tablet works with the same optional Active Stylus, magnetic kickstand and detachable keyboard. This accessory support is designed for note-taking or light typing. Every model offers a microSD card slot that supports cards up to 1 TB, which helps offset the relatively modest internal storage capacities.
The Acer Iconia Duo S12 and Acer Iconia Duo D12 share an 8,000 mAh battery pack, while the Acer Iconia Duo S14 steps up to a 10,000 mAh unit. Acer states that each tablet can deliver up to 10 hours of usage, though exact endurance will depend on use and display brightness.
The Acer Iconia Duo S14 sits at the top of the lineup with a 14.2-inch 2.8K OLED panel. The resolution is 2,880 x 1,840 pixels, with a 120Hz refresh rate, 400 nits peak brightness, a 91% screen-to-body ratio and claimed 100% DCI-P3 coverage, aimed at smooth scrolling and vivid colour reproduction.
Powering the Acer Iconia Duo S14 is the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 chipset, paired with 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS storage. Two USB Type-C ports allow DisplayPort input and output, letting the tablet act as a portable monitor or connect to an external display for extended workflows.
The Acer Iconia Duo S14 features a 13 MP rear camera backed by a 5 MP macro lens, and an 8 MP front camera for video calls. Dual microphones and quad stereo speakers are included. At 6.2 mm thick and 0.73 kg, the S14 is relatively slim for a 14-inch tablet in this category.
Acer Iconia Duo Tablets: S12 and D12 Compared
The Acer Iconia Duo S12 brings similar OLED picture quality into a smaller 12.2-inch frame, with a 2,800 x 1,840 pixel resolution and 600 nits brightness. The panel uses nano-texture glass, which is designed to reduce glare and fingerprints. The tablet weighs 0.58 kg and uses an aluminium alloy body for a more premium-feel chassis.

Inside the Acer Iconia Duo S12 is a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset, paired with 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256 GB storage. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3, while a single USB Type-C port handles charging and data. Audio is delivered by dual stereo speakers instead of the S14’s quad setup.
The Acer Iconia Duo D12 focuses on a lower price segment with a 12.2-inch WQXGA LCD panel at 2,400 x 1,600 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate. It runs on the MediaTek Helio G99 chipset, with 8 GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 128 GB of storage, which is the most limited configuration in the range.
Camera hardware on the Acer Iconia Duo D12 includes an 8 MP rear sensor and a 5 MP front camera. Like the S12, it uses an 8,000 mAh battery and supports the same stylus, kickstand and keyboard accessories. The D12 weighs 0.62 kg, placing it between the S12 and S14 in terms of heft.
