Apple iPad Air M2 Price in India Discounted: Here’s How You Can Get it for Rs 52,900
Apple has introduced the iPad Air M3 in India, leading to a price reduction for the iPad Air M2 at Vijay Sales. The M2 model now costs Rs 56,900, reduced from Rs 59,900. Further discounts are available for SBI or ICICI cardholders, bringing the price down to Rs 52,900.
This raises the question of whether to opt for the Air M2 or the latest 7th generation iPad Air. The iPad Air M3 is equipped with Apple's M3 chip, offering significant performance improvements over its predecessors. Apple states that this chip is nearly twice as fast as the M1 and up to 3.5 times faster than models powered by the A14 Bionic chip. This makes it ideal for demanding tasks such as video editing and advanced gaming.

Performance and Features
For those upgrading from older models like the iPad 9 or 10, the iPad Air M2 remains a solid choice. It handles everyday tasks like web browsing and streaming efficiently. However, if you own an iPad Air M1, upgrading to the iPad Air M3 might be more beneficial due to its enhanced hardware and speed.
Both the iPad Air M2 and M3 share similar designs, including Touch ID integrated into the top button. However, some features are exclusive to the iPad Pro series. For instance, Face ID is absent in both Air models, and they lack a function row on their Magic Keyboard attachment.
Display and Camera Specifications
The display specifications remain unchanged between the two models. The 11-inch variant offers 500 nits of brightness while the 13-inch version goes up to 600 nits. Both support P3 Wide Colour and True Tone technology for enhanced visual quality.
The camera features of the iPad Air M3 include a 12-megapixel front-facing camera with Center Stage support for video calls. The rear camera also boasts a 12-megapixel sensor capable of recording 4K video at up to 60fps and slow-motion capture at 1080p and 240fps.
Magic Keyboard Enhancements
Apple has also released an updated Magic Keyboard alongside the new iPad Air. While it resembles the keyboard for the iPad Pro, it includes a new 14-key function row for quick access to shortcuts but uses less premium materials compared to its Pro counterpart.
For budget-conscious buyers, the discounted price of the iPad Air M2 presents an attractive option. However, those seeking faster performance should consider upgrading from devices older than iPad Air 6 or iPad 10 to benefit from the new features offered by the iPad Air M3.
