Apple has unveiled its latest iPad Pro in India, featuring the advanced M5 chip. This flagship tablet will be available for purchase later this month in four storage variants. The 11-inch model boasts an OLED display and is 5.3mm thick, while the larger 13-inch version is slightly slimmer at 5.1mm. Alongside the iPad Pro, Apple also introduced a new MacBook Pro equipped with the same M5 chip.

The iPad Pro with the M5 chip offers impressive performance enhancements over its predecessor. It includes a 10-core GPU and a 16-core Neural Engine, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 2TB of storage. The device promises up to 1.5 times faster 3D rendering in Octane X and up to 1.2 times quicker video transcode performance in Final Cut Pro compared to the previous M4 processor.

iPad Pro Pricing and Availability

In India, the iPad Pro with the M5 chip starts at Rs. 99,990 for the Wi-Fi-only 11-inch model. The Wi-Fi+Cellular variant begins at Rs. 1,19,900. For the larger 13-inch model, prices start at Rs. 1,29,900 for Wi-Fi and Rs. 1,49,900 for Wi-Fi+Cellular options. Pre-orders are open now, with sales commencing on October 22 through Apple's website and retail stores.

The new iPad Pro is available in Space Black and Silver colours and comes in storage options of 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB. It features a C1X cellular modem paired with an N1 wireless networking chip for enhanced connectivity.

The iPad Pro sports an Ultra Retina XDR OLED display that supports ProMotion technology with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and True Tone for accurate colour reproduction. It also offers Adaptive Sync for seamless use with external displays at a similar refresh rate.

Its dimensions are compact yet functional; the smaller model measures approximately 249 x 177 x 5mm while weighing around 444 grams whereas its larger counterpart measures about 281 x 215x 5mm weighing approximately 579 grams respectively.
