Apple has officially unveiled a new version of the iPad Air at its latest "Let Loose" event. The Cupertino tech giant revealed a new redesigned 11-inch iPad Air and an all-new 13-inch iPad Air.

The new iPad Air features an M2 chip, Liquid Retina display, Apple Pencil support, a newly position front-facing camera, and more. Now, here's a look at the pricing of the new iPad Air. The new iPad Air models run iPadOS 17 out of the box.

The new 11-inch iPad Air is priced at $599 (roughly Rs 50,000), while the 13-inch iPad Air starts from $799 (roughly Rs 66,700). The iPad Air (2024) models come with 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB of storage. The 11-inch and 13-inch iPad Air models come in New Blue, New Purple, Starlight, and Space Grey color options.

The 11-inch iPad Air 2024 price in India starts from 59,900 for the Wi-Fi variant and Rs 74,900 for the Wi-Fi + Cellular model. Additionally, the 13-inch iPad Air 2024 price in India starts from 79,900 for the Wi-Fi model and Rs 94,900 for the Wi-Fi + Cellular model.

New iPad Air (2024) Models Features, Specifications

The new iPad Air models are powered by the M2 chipset, which offers a nearly 50% bump in performance over the iPad Air M1 and up to 3x faster than the iPad Air A14 Bionic. The iPad Air comes with an 11-inch and a 13-inch Liquid Retina display and Touch ID support through the power button.

The new iPad Airs also come with Apple Pencil and Magic Keyboard support. The iPad Air models feature stereo speakers on the top and bottom. Both the 13-inch and 11-inch iPad Air variant offers a 12 MP rear camera and a 12 MP front camera, which is now placed on the long edge of the device to be used primarily in landscape mode.

Connectivity options on the iPad Air models include 4G, 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, and more. The enclosure of the two new iPad Airs is made of 100% recycled aluminum. The new iPad Air models also support charging over a USB Type-C port and comes with Touch ID for biometric authentication.
