Dell Launches Venue 8 Pro 5000 Tablet With Intel Atom, Windows 10 And USB Type-C

Dell has updated one of its popular Windows running tablet line up with top notch specs and upgraded the software. Earlier this week, the company has announced the launch of its latest Venue 8 Pro 5000 series, with cutting-edge configurations in the U.S.

The improvements compared to the old Dell Venue 8 Pro tablet includes a full-HD display, support to cellular connectivity and runs on Windows 10 operating system. Dell's official website is now selling a refreshed version of the tablet for $449, approx Rs. 30,000.

The Venue 8 Pro 5000 (2016) sports an 8 inch full-HD display with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels. It is powered by a quad-core Intel Atom X5 Z8500 chipset at a clock speed of 1.44GHz processor paired with 4GB of RAM and available in two variants: one with Windows 10 Home, while the other is packed with Windows 10 Pro.

In terms of storage, the tablet comes with 64GB of eMMC internal storage along with the support of microSD card to expand storage space up to 128GB. Dell Venue 8 Pro includes a 2-megapixel front-facing camera and a 5-megapixel rear shooter.

Further, the tablet is equipped with USB Type-C connector, and offers support for NFC, LTE, Wi-Fi with Miracast, Bluetooth 4.0 and packed with 19.5WHr Lithium Ion Battery.
