    Today, Dell has launched the Venue 8 7000 series tablet in the Indian market, which was was introduced last year at the Intel Developer Forum.

    This Android powered Dell Venue 8 7000 tablet sports a Aluminum chassis with front stereo speakers and measures 6mm thickness, which is thinner than iPad Air 2 and the iPad mini 3.

    Dell Venue 8 7000 - Key Specifications

    Dell Venue 8 7000, features an 8.4-inch OLED infinity display with a resolution of 2560x1600 pixels. It is powered by an Intel Atom Processor Z3580 (up to 2.3GHz quad-core) with Intel HD Graphics (Imagination PowerVR G6430) alongside 2GB RAM.

    On the imaging factor, Venue 8 7000 flaunts a 8MP rear sensor enhanced by two 720p cameras for depth-sensing, 2MP front snapper.

    Moving on to the special feature, this slate comes with Intel RealSense Snapshot Depth Camera, which captures a depth map for every picture taken.

    For example, when you click a picture, the extra information will be captured by the secondary camera. Also you can refocus or defocus any section of the image afterwards.

    Further, this intelligent technology, can can also do area measurements (length, width, height) with a photo, just like measuring the length of a sofa, chair or the area of a room.

    Moreover, Dell Venue 8 7000 is equipped with 16/ 32GB of internal storage, with an expansion option via microSD card slot and shipped with Android 5.0 out of the box. Other specifications includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Miracast support.

    Priced at Rs. 34,999, Dell Venue 8 7000 will be available in the Indian market from July beginning this year.
