Today, Hewlett Packard (HP) has announced its latest tablet in the market, dubbed as Envy Note 8. This slate also comes with optional 10-inch HP ENVY Note Keyboard Folio, which has a aluminum built including a 89 x 34mm click-pad.
Further, this comes with HP Instant Note app that allows user to start taking notes by simply pressing the pen button in the stylus.
According to the company, "HP Instant Note captures content and embeds links to webpages eliminating extra copy and paste steps, the note is automatically saved in OneNote and can be accessed via HP Notes Hub".
HP Envy Note 8 - Key Specifications
HP Envy Note 8, features a 8-inch full HD IPS display with 1920 ×1080 pixels and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is clocked at 1.44GHz Intel Atom x5-Z8300 processor with Intel HD Graphics clubbed with 2GB RAM under the hood.
On the storage front, this device is equipped with 32GB of built-in memory, with an expansion option of up to 64GB via microSD card. In terms of the software, this tab is shipped with Windows 10 OS out of the box.
Moreover, on the imaging factor, the Envy Note 8 flaunts a 5MP auto focus rear camera with 1080p video recording, 2MP front snapper on board. It also has B&O Play by Bang and Olufsen sound system for crystal clear audio experience.
Moving on to the connectivity option, this device supports 4G (via SIM card slot), WiFi 802.11 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, USB OTG. The whole hardware is powered by a battery which offers up to 6 hours of talking hours.
The HP Envy Note 8 is available in two different prices. One with the tablet and stylus will cost around $329 (approx Rs. 21,000), while the tablet, stylus and keyboard folio bundle will carry a price of $429 (approx Rs. 28,000). It will be available for sale in US starting from November 8.
