    Huawei unveiled a new tablet under its affordable 8 inch tablet lineup. The company announced the successor of Huawei M1.

    The new Huawei M2 tablet is built almost with all-metal back and comes in Wi-Fi and LTE models versions. The new tablet has incorporated a lot of new changes in terms of its design, specs as well as sound quality.

    The Huawei M2 sports an 8 inch IPS display with 1920x1200 pixels resolution. It is powered by a Kirin 930 Chipset octa-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with EMUI 3.1 interface on top.

    It comes with 16GB or 64GB internal storage space. In camera department, it includes an 8MP primary camera and a 2MP secondary selfie shooter. The tablet is packed with 4,800mAh battery.

    The Huawei M2 tablet comes in two models: the 16GB Wi-Fi only version is priced CNY 1,588 (approx $256), while the 64GB Wi-Fi for CNY 1,888 (approx $304), The LTE version of 16GB model is priced at CNY 1,888 (approx $304) and the 64GB LTE model goes up to CNY 2,288 (approx $368).

    The tablet will go on sale starting 16 July, but there is no information about the price and availability of the tablet in India.
