Huawei has launched the Huawei MatePad Pro 13.2. The Chinese tech giant claims it is the "world's thinnest and lightest edge-to-edge large tablet." It weighs only 580 grams and is just 5.5mm thick.

The MatePad Pro 13.2 features an edge-to-edge screen design and ships with a starlight M Pen stylus. At 3.4mm, this tablet does have very thin bezels.

The 13.2-inch flexible OLED display has a resolution of 2.8K and a refresh rate of 144Hz. Needless to mention, this is the first tablet to feature such a display, which has a screen-to-body ratio of 94 percent and a resolution of 2880 x 1920 pixels.

The Huawei MatePad Pro 13.2 is powered by Kirin 9000s, which also powers the Mate 60 series of flagship smartphones. It features a stainless-steel VC in addition to the 52000 sq. mm of high thermal conductivity graphite for heat dissipation.

The Huawei tablet packs up to 16GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 1TB using a microSD card. The tablet runs the latest version of Huawei's HarmonyOS 4.0, which is based on Android 13.

The Huawei MatePad Pro 13.2 features a dual rear camera setup, headlined by a 13MP main camera and accompanied by an 8MP lens. The Huawei tablet features a 16MP front-facing camera, as well as a ToF sensor for selfies, video calls, and face, unlock.

Huawei has started accepting pre-booking for the MatePad Pro 13.2. However, the first official sale of the tablet will start at 10:08 a.m. (local time) on September 28.

Huawei MatePad Pro 13.2 is available in three colors: Yachuan Blue, Crystal White, and Obsidian Black. The entry-level model of the tablet with 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage starts at Yuan 5199 (approx. $711 / ₹59,000). The top-end variant of the tablet with 16GB RAM, 1TB storage, a keyboard, and a stylus will retail for Yuan 8,299 (approx. $1,135 / ₹94,500).
