Huawei MediaPad T3, MediaPad M3 Lite price revealed: Goes on sale in Amazon

Huawei, back in the months of April and June added two new tablets to its MediaPad lineup - the MediaPad T3 8-inch and MediaPad M3 Lite 10-inch.

Quite surprisingly, at the time of the launch, the Chinese OEM did not announce the prices and availability of the two devices. But that is changing now. The tablets have now been made available on Amazon.com and we now have the prices of the two devices.

Moreover, the e-commerce giant has introduced two more variants - Huawei MediaPad T3 10-inch and MediaPad M3 Lite 8-inch tablets.

So how much the new tablets cost? Well, Huawei MediaPad T3 8-inch has been priced at $139 (approximately Rs. 8,882), the 10-inch version will cost $159 (approximately Rs. 10,160). Whereas Huawei MediaPad M3 Lite 10-inch variant has been priced at $249 (approximately Rs. 15,912) and the 8-inch display variant will be available at $199 (approximately Rs. 12,716).

So we finally have the pricing details of the two new tablets and its variants. However, it has to also be noted that the price may vary slightly in different countries.

That being said, let's just recall some of the features and specs of the two tablets.

Huawei MediaPad T3

Both the models of Huawei MediaPad T3 (8-inch and 10-inch variants) come with the same specifications. The tablets have a screen resolution of 1280x800 pixels and are powered by a 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 SoC. The tablets come in two RAM/ storage options of 2GB/ 16GB and 3GB/ 32GB, and it offers 16GB of inbuilt storage. The tablet is backed by a 4800mAh battery and runs on Android 7.0-based EMUI 5.1 skin on top.

As for the optics, the tablets sport a 5-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front-facing camera. In addition, the tablets come with a metallic finish along with an embedded fingerprint scanner.

MediaPad M3 Lite

Talking about the MediaPad M3 Lite, both variants (8-inch and 10-inch) of this tablet come with a display resolution of 1920x1200 pixels. The tablets are powered by a 1.6GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 SoC. This model also comes in three RAM/ storage options - 3GB RAM and 16GB storage, 3GB RAM and 32GB storage, and 4GB RAM.

As for the batteries, MediaPad M3 Lite 8-inch is equipped with a 4800mAh battery while the MediaPad M3 Lite 10-inch is backed by a 6600mAh battery. As for the cameras, both the variants have 8-megapixel shooters on the front as well as on the back, however, the rear one comes with autofocus capability while the front is a fixed-focus camera. The tablet offers 64GB storage and it also runs on Android 7.0 Nougat-based EMUI 5.1 on top.
