iBall Slide Enzo V8 launched for Rs. 8,999: Price, key specs, features
iBall has come up with a new 4G VoLTE capable tablet but it misses out some common features.
iBall, a domestic brand has expanded its portfolio with the launch of a new tablet called iBall Slide Enzo V8 in the country. This tablet is priced at Rs. 8,999 and bundles mid-range specifications that are common among such devices. The major highlight of this device is the 4G LTE and VoLTE support. The tablet also comes preloaded with Google and Microsoft apps including Outlook and LinkedIn out of the box.
The iBall Slide Enzo V8 tablet bestows a 7-inch IPS LCD display with a HD resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. Under its hood, there operates an unspecified quad-core chipset that is coupled with 2GB RAM. The device comes with 16GB of default memory capacity that can be expanded further up to another 32GB using a microSD card.
For imaging, the iBall tablet flaunts a 5MP primary camera at its rear and a 2MP selfie camera for video calling at the front. The company has implemented LED flashlight next to each of these cameras. The camera app of the tablet comes with many modes including burst, self-timer and face beautification.
As mentioned above, the iBall Slide Enzo V8 is preloaded with support for 4G VoLTE. Besides this, the tablet also comes bundled with other connectivity aspects such as Bluetooth, a micro USB port and USB OTG. The tablet runs Android 7.0 Nougat topped with the custom UI. There is support for 22 Indian regional languages as well. A 3500mAh battery powers the iBall tablet from within rendering a decent backup to the same.
The tablet measures 10.11mm in thickness and features an all-metal design. The tablet comes with the ability to record calls but it misses out on a fingerprint sensor that is becoming a common feature these days. There is also a 3.5mm audio jack, gyroscope, proximity and ambient light sensors.
Priced at Rs. 8,999, the iBall Slide Enzo V8 will be available only via offline in the country. Given that there are several budget smartphones priced relatively lesser than this iBall tablet, we are yet to know what kind of response will be there for this device. If there is a necessity for a bigger device with 4G VoLTE within a budget, then this one could make a good choice.
