It is unlikely that Infinix will introduce a premium tablet model immediately. There is no official word on the launch date for the Infinix XPAD yet.

Recently, Infinix launched its Note 40 Pro series in India, priced under Rs 25,000. At that time, there was no information regarding the release of the vanilla Note 40 model. Now, it has been confirmed that the Infinix Note 40 will launch on June 21.

The Infinix Note 40 is expected to feature wireless charging support similar to its more expensive counterpart, the Note 40 Pro. The smartphone is anticipated to be priced under Rs 20,000 in India, potentially making it the most affordable smartphone with wireless charging technology. It will support 15W Wireless MagCharge.

The confirmed details for the Infinix Note 40 include a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 93.8 percent screen-to-body ratio. The device will be equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery supporting 33W wired fast charging and 15W wireless MagCharge.

Similar to the Infinix Note 40 Pro+ 5G and Infinix Note 40 Pro 5G models, the Note 40 will feature a sound system co-developed with JBL. This collaboration aims to deliver immersive audio with 360-degree surround sound and enhanced bass response.

The Infinix Note 40 could be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7020 SoC, paired with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB UFS2.2 storage. It may run on Android 12-based XOS 14 and have an IP53 rating for dust and splash resistance.

For photography enthusiasts, the Infinix Note 40 is tipped to sport a triple rear camera setup featuring a 108-megapixel main sensor and two additional 2-megapixel sensors. A 32-megapixel selfie camera could be present on the front.
