Apple has officially unveiled the iPad Mini (2024) globally and in India. This latest version of Apple's smallest iPad is powered by the A17 Pro chip, which was first seen in last year's iPhone 15 Pro models. The seventh-generation model marks the first update to the 'Mini' series since 2021 and now offers a base storage of 128GB. It will gradually support Apple Intelligence features as they are introduced.
The iPad Mini (2024) comes with an 8.3-inch Liquid Retina display, boasting a resolution of 1,488x2,266 pixels and a pixel density of 326ppi. The screen can reach up to 500 nits of brightness and supports the P3 colour gamut. It is compatible with the Apple Pencil Pro, released earlier this year.

In India, the iPad Mini (2024) price starts at Rs. 49,900 for the base model with 128GB storage. The cellular version costs Rs. 64,900. Additionally, the 256GB Wi-Fi model is priced at Rs. 59,900 (Cellular: Rs. 74,900), and the 512GB Wi-Fi variant costs Rs. 79,900 (Cellular: Rs. 94,900).
Pre-orders are open on Apple's website. The latest iPad Mini is available in Blue, Purple, Space Grey, and Starlight colours and will go on sale from October 23rd. Customers can also enjoy a Rs. 3,000 discount during Apple's festival sale using American Express, Axis Bank, or ICICI Bank cards.
