iQOO is gearing up to launch its next generation of tablets, the iQOO Pad 2 and iQOO Pad 2 Pro, in China on May 31st. These tablets boast upgraded features compared to the original iQOO Pad, catering to users who prioritize performance and large displays.

Both the iQOO Pad 2 and Pad 2 Pro retain a similar design aesthetic to their predecessor, featuring a circular camera module on the back panel and a centered hole-punch front camera. The power button sits on the top edge, with speaker grilles located on the bottom.

The iQOO Pad 2 features a 12.1-inch 2.8K resolution display with a smooth 144Hz refresh rate. The Pro version steps up the display size to a larger 13-inch panel with a higher 3.1K resolution, while maintaining the same 144Hz refresh rate for a fluid user experience.

Performance and Battery

The iQOO Pad 2 packs a punch with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, offering robust performance for demanding tasks. The iQOO Pad 2 Pro takes a different approach, opting for the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ processor. Both models are equipped with large batteries - 10,000mAh for the standard model and 11,500mAh for the Pro variant - ensuring long battery life.

Camera and Features

While specific camera details haven't been fully revealed, leaks suggest the iQOO Pad 2 will sport an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. The Pro model is expected to offer a 13MP primary rear camera and an 8MP front-facing shooter.

iQoo has announced on Weibo that the iQOO Pad 2 and iQOO Pad 2 Pro will debut in China on May 31. Pre-orders for these tablets are now available through the Vivo China e-store, according to the launch microsite.

As of now, there's no information on the global availability of the iQOO Pad 2 and Pad 2 Pro. The original iQOO Pad never made it outside China, so the chances of these successors launching elsewhere seem slim.
