iQOO Pad 2 Launched with Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC: iQOO Pad 2 Pro Gets MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ SoC

iQOO recently dropped two new Android tablets in China. The iQOO Pad 2 series includes the iQOO Pad 2 and iQOO Pad 2 Pro. The iQOO Pad 2 series features flagship-grade chipsets and super-smooth displays.

iQOO Pad 2 Series: Specifications and Features

The iQOO Pad 2 Pro is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chip, while the standard model uses a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC. Both run on Android 14-based OriginOS 4. The iQOO Pad 2 is equipped with 12 GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage, while the 'Pro' variant comes with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.

The iQOO Pad 2 Pro features a 13-inch 3.1K LCD display with a144Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. For cooling, it includes a three-dimensional system with a 37,000mm square heat dissipation area. The Pro variant sports a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera for video calls.

Connectivity options on the iQOO Pad 2 Pro include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, OTG, and a USB Type-C port. It includes sensors such as gravity, colour temperature, hall, and gyroscope. The tablet also offers facial recognition and has eight speakers. It houses an 11,500 mAh battery with 66W wired fast charging, delivering up to 14.8 hours of video playback.

The vanilla iQOO Pad 2 features a 12.05-inch display with the same refresh and touch sampling rates as the Pro model. The standard model has a 5-megapixel front camera and an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash. It also includes eight speakers.

Sensor options on the iQOO Pad 2 match those of the Pro model but it does not support Wi-Fi 7. The tablet has a 10,000mAh battery with 44W wired fast charging. It measures 266.43x192x6.57mm and weighs 589.2 grams.

iQOO Pad 2 Series: Pricing and Availability

The iQOO Pad 2 Pro starts at CNY 3,399 (roughly Rs 40,000) for the 8GB + 256GB version. The 12GB + 256GB version is priced at CNY 3,699 (roughly Rs 43,500), while the 16GB + 512GB version costs CNY 4,099 (roughly Rs 48,200).

The iQOO Pad 2 is priced at CNY 2,499 (roughly Rs 29,400) for the 8GB + 128GB version, with the 8GB + 256GB version at CNY 2,799 (roughly Rs 32,950). The 12GB + 256GB version of the iQOO Pad 2 is priced at CNY 3,099 (roughly Rs 36,450), and the 12GB + 512GB version costs CNY 3,399 (roughly Rs. 40,000).

Both models are currently available for purchase in China in Gray Crystal, Lan Ting, and Silver Wing color options. As of now, there is no information about the iQOO Pad 2 series' launch in India.
