Lenovo Idea Tab Pro with 144Hz Display, MediaTek Dimensity 8300 SoC, JBL Speakers Launched in India

Lenovo has introduced the Idea Tab Pro in India, a new addition to its tablet lineup. This device features a 12.7-inch LCD screen with 3K resolution, making it ideal for streaming, design tasks, and light gaming. It also boasts a quad JBL speaker system with Dolby Atmos support for an enhanced audio experience.

The tablet is powered by an octa-core Dimensity 8300 processor built on a 4nm process, which is significantly more powerful than the Dimensity 7050 SoC found in the Tab P12. With up to 12GB of RAM, users can expect smooth performance. The device's 10,200 mAh battery supports up to 11 hours of video playback.

The Lenovo Idea Tab Pro comes with a 12.7-inch LTPS LCD screen offering a resolution of 2944 x1840 pixels and a refresh rate of 144Hz. It provides a peak brightness of 400 nits and has a pixel density of 273PPI. The tablet runs on Android 14 with ZUI 16 and includes Gemini features such as circle search and the Gemini AI assistant.

For connectivity, the tablet supports Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth v5.3. It includes USB Type-C audio and offers four JBL speakers with Dolby Atmos for superior sound quality. The device measures 291.8 x 189.1 x 6.9mm and weighs 615g.

The Idea Tab Pro is equipped with a 13MP autofocus rear camera accompanied by an LED flash, while the front-facing camera is an 8MP fixed focus unit. It offers storage options of up to 256GB UFS 2.2, expandable via microSD card up to an additional terabyte.

Security features include a fingerprint sensor integrated into the power key. The tablet also supports Lenovo Smart Connect features like Share Hub for file sharing across devices, App Streaming for streaming tablet apps to PCs, and Smart Clipboard for seamless copying and pasting.

The pricing for this tablet starts at Rs. 27,999 for the variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, while the version with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at Rs. 30,999. It is available on Lenovo India's website and will be sold on Amazon.in starting March 21st.
