Lenovo Idea Tab Pro to Debut in India With AI Tools, Dimensity 8300 SoC, 144Hz Display, JBL Audio, and More

Lenovo is preparing to introduce the Idea Tab Pro in India, a tablet that integrates AI-powered features such as Google Gemini AI, Circle to Search, and instant translation.

These additions suggest a focus on productivity and smart interactions, making the device more than just a standard Android tablet.

Large Display With 3K Resolution

The Idea Tab Pro will come with a 12.7-inch display featuring a 2944 x 1820 resolution, achieving 3K quality visuals. The 144Hz refresh rate should offer smooth scrolling and a better experience for gaming and video playback. With 400 nits of brightness, the screen should be usable in various lighting conditions, though it may not be the brightest in its category.

Performance and Software

Under the hood, Lenovo is equipping the Idea Tab Pro with MediaTek's Dimensity 8300 chipset, a processor aimed at efficient multitasking and AI-driven applications. The tablet will run Android 14 with Lenovo's ZUI 16, ensuring access to regular software and security updates.

Camera and Storage

On the camera front, the Idea Tab Pro includes a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera with LED flash, suitable for basic photography and video calls. The device will have 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, with support for microSD expansion.

Battery and Audio

Lenovo is packing a 10,200mAh battery into the Idea Tab Pro, promising extended usage without frequent recharges. When it does need power, 45W fast charging support should help reduce downtime.

For audio, the tablet features a quad-speaker setup tuned by JBL, along with Dolby Atmos support for an immersive sound experience.

Connectivity and Availability

The Idea Tab Pro will support Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, and USB Type-C connectivity. Lenovo is expected to make the tablet available through Amazon India, though pricing details have yet to be confirmed.
