Moto Pad 70 5G Launched in India with MediaTek Dimensity 6400 SoC, 2.5K Display, 10,200mAh Battery, Android 16

Motorola has expanded its tablet portfolio in India with the launch of the Moto Pad 70 5G. The new tablet is aimed at users looking for a combination of productivity, entertainment and portability, with features such as a high-resolution display, 5G connectivity, a large battery and bundled stylus.

The Moto Pad 70 will go on sale in India from August 15. Motorola is positioning it as one of the thinnest and lightest 5G tablets in its segment, while also offering software features designed for users working across multiple devices.

Moto Pad 70 Price in India and Availability

The Moto Pad 70 price in India starts at Rs 33,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The higher-end model with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at Rs 36,999.

The tablet is available in a single Pantone Sea Angel colour option. It can be purchased through Flipkart, Motorola's official website and major retail outlets. Launch offers include card discounts of up to Rs 5,000 for eligible buyers.

Moto Pad 70 Specifications

The Moto Pad 70 features a 12.1-inch 2.5K LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate, up to 800 nits of peak brightness and 96 percent DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage. The display also carries TÜV Rheinland eye-care certification.

The tablet is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. Storage can be expanded by up to 2TB using a microSD card.

The Moto Pad 70 packs a 10,200mAh battery with support for 68W TurboPower fast charging. It also features quad speakers tuned by Dolby Atmos for an immersive audio experience.

For productivity, Motorola includes the Moto Pen in the box. The stylus supports 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity, palm rejection and tilt detection. An optional Moto Folio Keyboard is also available.

The tablet runs Android 16 and is promised two major Android upgrades up to Android 18, along with security updates until 2030. It features a 13-megapixel rear camera and 8-megapixel front camera. The device also carries an IP52 rating and supports 5G connectivity.
