Motorola has expanded its tablet lineup in India by launching the Moto Pad 70 Groove. This entertainment device targets multimedia enthusiasts seeking premium audio.

The standout feature of the Moto Pad 70 Groove is its custom acoustic architecture. It sports a nine-unit JBL Pro speaker system tuned with Dolby Atmos technology. This hardware layout integrates four tweeters, three woofers, and two passive radiators. Certified for Hi-Res Audio, the device connects seamlessly as a portable Bluetooth speaker for smartphones.

Display, Design, and Hardware Specifications

The tablet features a 12.1-inch 2.5K LCD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. It supports Dolby Vision and HDR10, achieving up to 800 nits of peak brightness. The panel also offers fluid visual responsiveness. A built-in circular 360-degree Kickstand 2.0 allows easy, hands-free viewing at multiple angles.

Under the hood, the tablet relies on a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor. It pairs 8GB of RAM with 256GB of storage, expandable up to 2TB. A massive 10,200mAh battery powers the unit, supporting 45W TurboPower fast charging.

The aggressive roadmap shows the brand’s commitment to capturing multiple price points. These devices cater directly to different user profiles. Users can choose between a standard, pro, or audio-enhanced portable experience.

It runs Android 16 out of the box. The brand promises OS updates up to Android 18. Security patches are guaranteed until 2030. Other features include an IP52 build, a 13MP rear camera, and an 8MP front lens.

Moto Pad 70 Groove Price in India

The Moto Pad 70 is priced at Rs. 36,999 for the sole 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. It comes in a PANTONE Blue Surf colour option and will go on sale starting August 7 via Flipkart, Motorola India, and leading retail stores.

As part of the launch offers, buyers can avail of an instant Rs. 3,000 bank discount with select cards, bringing the effective price down to Rs. 33,999. Notably, Motorola has also confirmed that the moto Pad 70 will go on sale in India on August 8.
