It is speculated to include enhancements over its predecessor, such as a superior chipset, a larger display, and an increased battery capacity. The OnePlus Pad 2 Pro is projected to enter the Chinese market by June 2025.

According to a Weibo post by tipster Digital Chat Station (translated from Chinese), the OnePlus Pad 2 Pro will likely feature the "full-blooded" octa-core Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. This tablet, expected to launch in the first half of 2025, is said to focus on gaming and e-sports. It may support up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and offer up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 internal storage.

Display and Camera Specifications

The OnePlus Pad 2 Pro might boast a custom 13.2-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 3.4K. An earlier leak suggested that the OnePlus Pad Pro would be refreshed with a larger "Huaxing" LCD screen measuring 13 inches, featuring a resolution of 3,840 x 2,400 pixels, a refresh rate of 144Hz, brightness levels up to 600 nits, and a touch sampling rate of 240Hz.

The current OnePlus Pad Pro includes a smaller display at 12.1 inches with a resolution of 3K and is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. It supports up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and provides storage options up to 512GB using UFS 4.0 technology.

In contrast, the upcoming OnePlus Pad 2 Pro is expected to house a more substantial 10,000mAh battery with support for either 67W or 80W wired fast charging capabilities.
