OnePlus Pad 2 with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, 144Hz Display Launched in India: Price, Specs, Availability
OnePlus has officially announced a new flagship tablet in India. The OnePlus Pad 2 succeeds the OnePlus Pad as the company's latest flagship Android tablet. However, it also appears to be a rebranded version of the OnePlus Pad Pro that was unveiled in China last month.
OnePlus isn't pulling any punches with the Pad 2, which uses a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, a significant upgrade from the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC on the original OnePlus Pad (Review). The Pad 2 was unveiled alongside a head of other products, including the OnePlus Nord 4, Watch 2R, and Buds 3 Pro.

Apart from the chip, the OnePlus Pad 2 sports a 12.1-inch 3K (2,120x3,000 pixels) IPS LCD screen with a 7:5 aspect ratio. The display boasts a 144Hz refresh rate and a 540Hz touch sampling rate. The panel can achieve a peak brightness of 900 nits and supports Dolby Vision.
The Snapdragon chip on OnePlus's latest Android tablet is paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. The tablet features a 13 MP rear camera and an 8 MP front camera. It is equipped with a six-speaker setup and comes with stylus support via the OnePlus Stylo 2.
The OnePlus Pad 2 also packs a 9,510 mAh battery with 67W SUPERVOOC fast charging. Connectivity options on the OnePlus Pad 2 include Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 7, a USB Type-C port, and more. OnePlus's latest tablet runs Android 14-based OxygenOS 14.
OnePlus Pad 2 Pricing, Availability
The OnePlus Pad 2 price in India starts from Rs 39,999 for the base 8GB/128GB model. Moreover, the 12GB/256GB variant will set you back Rs 42,999. The OnePlus Pad 2 is offered in a single Nimbus Gray shade.
The OnePlus Pad 2 will go on sale in India starting August 1. Additionally, the new OnePlus Stylo 2 costs Rs 5,499, while the OnePlus Smart Keyboard is priced at Rs 8,499. Both these OnePlus Pad 2 accessories are sold separately.
