OnePlus Pad 4 Launched In India With Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, 13.2-Inch 3.4K Display, And 13,380mAh Battery

OnePlus has launched the OnePlus Pad 4 in India, and this one is clearly aimed at users who want more than a tablet for streaming and browsing.

The new tablet comes with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, a large 13.2-inch 3.4K display, a 13,380mAh battery, 80W fast charging, and OxygenOS 16 with a bunch of multitasking and AI features. In simple terms, OnePlus is trying to position this as a tablet that can handle work, entertainment, gaming, and creative tasks without feeling like a secondary device.

Price, Variants, And Sale Date

The OnePlus Pad 4 starts at ₹54,999 in India for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. The 12GB RAM and 512GB storage model is priced at ₹59,999.

OnePlus is offering an instant bank discount of up to ₹5,000 on select cards. As part of the launch offer, buyers will also get the OnePlus Stylo Pro, worth ₹5,499, bundled for free till stocks last.

Open sales begin on May 5, 2026. The tablet will be available through Amazon, Flipkart, OnePlus.in, the OnePlus Store app, OnePlus Experience Stores, and select partner stores.

Display, Performance, And Battery

The OnePlus Pad 4 features a 13.2-inch 3.4K display with a 144Hz refresh rate, 315 PPI pixel density, 12-bit colour depth, Dolby Vision support, and up to 1000 nits HBM brightness. The 7:5 ReadFit aspect ratio should also help with reading, documents, and split-screen work.

Under the hood, the tablet runs on Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, paired with up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.1 storage. OnePlus says performance is up to 42 percent higher than its predecessor.

There’s also a Cryo-velocity Cooling System with a large vapour chamber and graphite layers to help sustain performance during gaming, editing, and multitasking.

Battery capacity is another big talking point. The Pad 4 packs a 13,380mAh battery, with claimed battery life of up to 20 hours of video playback and up to 7 hours of gaming. It supports 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging.

OxygenOS 16 And AI Features

The tablet runs OxygenOS 16, which brings PC-like multitasking features. Users can open multiple apps, resize windows, use drag-and-drop, manage files with multi-column browsing, and connect external storage through OTG.

The Pad 4 also supports second-screen functionality, keyboard and mouse sharing, and deeper cross-device control.

On the AI side, OnePlus has added AI Writer, AI Summary, AI Translate, AI Painter, AI Recorder, and AI Clear Call. These tools are meant to help with writing, summarising documents, translations, sketch-to-visual creation, transcription, and clearer internet calls.

Design, Audio, And Accessories

The OnePlus Pad 4 has a metal unibody design, weighs 672g, and measures 5.94mm thick. It comes in Dune Glow and Sage Mist colours.

For audio, it gets an eight-speaker setup with spatial audio support. The OnePlus Stylo Pro supports 16,000 pressure levels and gesture controls, while a smart keyboard will launch later.
