OPPO Pad 5 Pro, Pad Mini Launched with Snapdragon 8 Series Chips, 144Hz Display, Stylus: Price, Specifications

OPPO has introduced two new flagship tablets in China alongside the Find X9 Ultra and Find X9s Pro. The OPPO Pad 5 Pro and Pad Mini are equipped with Snapdragon 8 series chips. Optional accessories appear for both the Oppo Pad 5 Pro and the Oppo Pad Mini, including a matte display version for reduced reflections.

OPPO Pad 5 Pro Specifications

The OPPO Pad 5 Pro is positioned as a flagship tablet, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset for high-end performance. It offers up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 4.1 storage, making it suitable for intensive multitasking, gaming, and creative workloads. The tablet runs Android 16 with ColorOS 16.

It features a large 13.2-inch LCD display with a 3,392 × 2,400 resolution and a 7:5 aspect ratio. The panel supports a 30-144Hz adaptive refresh rate, Dolby Vision, HDR Vivid, and up to 1,000 nits peak brightness. The tablet packs a 13,380mAh battery with 67W fast charging. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.

For audio and productivity, the device includes an eight-speaker system, dual microphones, support for the Oppo Pencil 3 stylus, and a magnetic floating keyboard. Camera setup includes a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera.

OPPO Pad Mini Specifications

The OPPO Pad Mini targets users who prefer a compact tablet without compromising on performance. It runs on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset and comes with up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 4.1 storage. Like its larger sibling, it operates on Android 16 with ColorOS 16.

It sports an 8.8-inch AMOLED display with a 2,520 × 1,680 resolution and a 3:2 aspect ratio. The screen supports a 60-144Hz adaptive refresh rate, offering smooth visuals in a smaller form factor. The tablet features slim 2.99mm bezels and a punch-hole front camera design.

For optics, it includes a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and an 8MP front camera. The device houses an 8,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. Connectivity features remain modern, and the tablet also supports optional accessories such as a matte display version for reduced reflections.

OPPO Pad 5 Pro, Pad Mini Pricing

The OPPO Pad 5 Pro starts at CNY 4,299 (around Rs. 59,100) for the base 8GB + 256GB variant. Higher configurations include the 12GB + 256GB model at CNY 4,499 (approximately Rs. 61,850) and the 12GB + 512GB version at CNY 4,999 (roughly Rs. 68,700). The top-end 16GB + 512GB variant is priced at CNY 5,499 (about Rs. 75,600).

Meanwhile, the OPPO Pad Mini is priced from CNY 3,699 (around Rs. 50,850) for the base variant. The 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB models are priced at CNY 3,999 (approximately Rs. 55,000) and CNY 4,499 (about Rs. 61,850), respectively. The OPPO Pad Mini and Pad 5 Pro will go on sale in China from April 24, although there is no word about international availability.
